Urban Crave

T2 ★ 3 $$$$

Burgers and beer are basically your only sit-down option in T2

In Ontario T2, Urban Crave sits airside past security near the main cluster of gates, and it’s one of the only full-service spots in the terminal. It runs as a hybrid bar and table-service restaurant with a midrange price point ($$) and an average rating around 3 stars. Think standard airport grill: burgers, wings, salads, tacos, and a short breakfast lineup when morning flights roll out.

Menu reports from 2024 mention burgers and fries landing in the low-to-mid teens, with a beer adding another $8–$10 to your tab. Several Google reviews call the burger-and-beer combo “fine for an airport,” which is about the right expectation level here. Portions get called “decent,” so you won’t leave hungry, but this is not a spot where you marvel at the seasoning.

Service often runs slow, especially during the afternoon bank of departures out of T2, and multiple reviews flag food arriving lukewarm or a bit overcooked. That matters if you’re trying to squeeze a sit-down meal into a 30‑minute window before a 5:45 p.m. flight. Regular ONT flyers on Reddit say they only sit here with a longer layover and otherwise grab Subway or Dunkin’ in the same terminal.

The safe order, per frequent reviewers, is basic: cheeseburger, fries, maybe wings, plus a draft beer or simple mixed drink from the bar. More elaborate items get mixed feedback for both flavor and temperature, and people do complain about airport-inflated pricing versus similar food on Holt Blvd. at the approach to ONT. T2 is small, so this place becomes the default if you want an actual plate and a drink before a Southwest or Alaska departure.

Tip: If your connection or pre-flight window is under 50 minutes in T2, treat Urban Crave as a bar-only stop and eat something faster nearby.
