Lot 4 General

Short stay

3-minute walk to T4 without paying premium rates

Lot 4 General sits directly in front of Terminal 4 at ONT, giving Southwest, Alaska, and other T4 flyers the closest standard parking option without jumping to valet or premium. The posted daily rate is $30, aimed at short stays or quick business trips where time beats hunting for cheaper spots farther out.

A Yelp reviewer clocked the walk at about 3–4 minutes from car to the T4 doors using the main crosswalk. You park, cross the roadway at the marked pedestrian path, and you’re inside Terminal 4 security in just a few minutes if lines are light. For flights out of T4, this is the “right across the street” lot people on Google Maps keep mentioning.

The airport parking map shows two T4 options: premium near the curb and Lot 4 General labeled as the standard option. That means you get front-of-terminal placement at the general price point instead of paying extra for the premium row. If you’re flying from T2 or IT, Lot 4 is still usable, but expect a longer walk or a shuttle connection, so you lose some of the value.

Common complaint: during peak periods, the front rows of Lot 4 General fill first, leaving only spaces in the back sections closer to the economy areas. That can turn a 3-minute walk into more like 7–10 minutes, especially if you have bags or kids in tow. Build in a bit of buffer if you’re pulling into ONT after 7 a.m. on weekdays or Sunday evenings.

Regulars mention they always note their row and light-pole number because the sections look similar and the layout blurs after a long trip. Snap a quick photo of the nearest pole sign as you park. It saves a slow wander through rows at 11 p.m. when you just want to head home.
