OMA’s future terminal plan finally brings in The Mill Coffee & Tea.
The Mill Coffee & Tea shows up on Eppley’s modernization concession list as a regional coffee option that sits alongside, not instead of, Starbucks. The catch: it doesn’t open until the rebuilt terminal comes online, so nothing is pouring yet in either the North or South terminal. For now it’s one to bookmark if you use Omaha more than once a year.
OMA’s official expansion documents flag The Mill as part of the new, consolidated terminal that replaces the current split North/South setup. That means you’ll eventually see it post-security, in the main departures zone, instead of in a landside lobby. Expect it to sit in the same footprint as other new concessions mentioned in the BuildOMA updates released in 2023 and 2024.
The Mill is a Nebraska name with existing locations in Lincoln that lean on espresso drinks, drip coffee, and loose-leaf tea, usually at prices in the $3–$7 range for drinks and a bit more for bags of beans to go. Nothing in the OMA filings lists exact pricing yet, but there’s no sign this turns into a premium “airport-only” menu. If you already buy their beans in Lincoln, you’ll probably see similar offerings on the shelf here once it opens.
Because The Mill is tied directly to the terminal renovation timeline, treat it like a “future perk” if you’re planning trips through OMA in 2025–2027. The airport’s own BuildOMA site groups it with other upgrades like expanded security lanes and new gates, so delays on construction can easily slide the opening date. Until the airport announces a firm month or gate range, your backup remains the existing Starbucks units in the current concourses.
Practical tip: before counting on The Mill for a 6 a.m. latte in Omaha, check the latest concessions map or BuildOMA update for a confirmed opening date and exact post-security location.
