Plum Market

Grab-and-go market concept in OMA’s North Terminal

OMA’s 2027 concessions plan calls Plum Market a “higher-end market” concept, and it already feels closer to a small grocery than a typical newsstand. You get fresh grab-and-go food, drinks, and travel basics in one spot post-security in the North Terminal, which helps when you land hungry from a 2+ hour flight and don’t have time for a sit-down meal.

Plum Market sits airside in the North Terminal concourse, serving customers aligned with the newer gates on that side of Eppley Airfield. Expect cooler cases with pre-made salads, sandwiches, and snack boxes under $15, plus bottled drinks and coffee options you can carry to any nearby gate. It functions as your main quick-stop alternative to standard magazine-and-candy shops in this part of OMA.

This isn’t a restaurant with table service; think of it as a smarter grab spot before a 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. flight window, when many of the traditional food counters open and close. You can piece together a real meal from a sandwich, yogurt, and fresh-cut fruit, or just grab chips and a bar if your connection is under 30 minutes. Prices run higher than downtown Omaha grocery stores but are typical for a small airport market.

Expect all the usual travel sundries: phone chargers, headphones, neck pillows, and basic over-the-counter meds, often hanging right by the coolers so you can scan everything in one lap of the store. That setup helps if you land from a late-evening arrival and realize you forgot a charging cable or toothpaste, since North Terminal options thin out quickly past 9:00 p.m.

One tip: stop at Plum Market before you walk to a far North Terminal gate, especially if you’re heading to a regional jet stand at the end of the concourse. It’s easier to stock up once here than to backtrack 5–10 minutes when boarding starts early.
