Local Omaha favorite Pitch Pizzeria is finally coming airside
Instead of another generic chain, Eppley Airfield is adding Pitch Pizzeria as part of its new concessions build-out, bringing a recognizable Omaha brand into the terminal. The project is tied to the airport’s ongoing expansion program outlined in the 2023 Build OMA updates, so expect a newer space, not a retrofitted corner unit.
Pitch Pizzeria sits in the post-security concourse once the North and South terminal work wraps, so you’ll be able to grab a pie after TSA without doubling back. Exact hours aren’t published yet, but airport partners here typically match the first and last bank of departures, roughly 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with kitchens throttling down as the final flights thin out.
Based on street locations in Omaha, you’re looking at individual pizzas in the $14–$20 range, with a couple of shareable options that run higher but can feed two people waiting on a 90-minute delay. Expect familiar toppings plus a few Pitch standards that locals know, not a one-size-fits-all menu written at corporate HQ in another state.
Order whole pizzas if your group is four deep and parked at North Terminal gates, and stick to slices or a salad if boarding starts in under 30 minutes. Pitch’s sit-down style in town usually means a ticket time closer to 15–20 minutes, so build that into your walk to South Terminal gates, which can be a 7–10 minute hike depending on crowds.
Until the airport posts a firm opening date and gate number on its concessions page, treat Pitch Pizzeria as a nice bonus if you spot it lit up past security rather than the only plan. One practical move: check your boarding pass zone and be through the TSA checkpoint at least 45 minutes before departure, then decide if you have the 20 minutes a fresh pizza probably needs.
