Gate 5 in the Main Terminal is where you’ll see Plenty Mercantile
This souvenir shop sits right by Gate 5 in OKC’s Main Terminal, easy to hit on the walk to most domestic departures. It runs daily from 5am to 8pm, so it’s open for the first Southwest and American morning banks and still going for the later evening flights. It’s post-security, so you don’t have to juggle check-in bags while shopping.
Plenty Mercantile leans local: think Oklahoma-themed gifts, state-logo gear, and small items that actually fit in a carry-on. Prices on small souvenirs and stickers sit in the single digits, while home-style gifts and apparel creep into the higher brackets, so it’s more “nice gift” than “airport bargain bin.” If you just need a quick under-$20 token for someone back home, you’ll usually find something workable here.
You won’t find snacks like a full newsstand, but you will see smaller grab-and-go trinkets that travel well: keychains, mugs, and soft goods that won’t blow up your personal-item space. Because it’s a dedicated souvenir shop in a relatively compact Main Terminal, stock feels more curated than the generic racks you see near other OKC gates. If you’re connecting and already through security, it’s easy to dip in and out in under 5–10 minutes.
Tip: if your flight is using a nearby gate in the 1–10 range, swing by Plenty Mercantile first, then hit the restroom and board. Past Gate 15, the walk back isn’t worth it unless you really want Oklahoma-branded gifts.
