Gate-adjacent snacks at OKC’s Local Market

Just past security in OKC’s Main terminal, Local Market sits along the concourse as one of the quick grab-and-go options before you hit the gates. Expect the usual airport mix: bottled drinks in coolers, packaged sandwiches, chips, candy bars, and some Oklahoma-themed souvenirs with “OKC” and Route 66 branding.

Hours track with typical Main terminal traffic, opening early for morning departures and running through the final evening banks, so you can usually grab something before a 6:00 a.m. flight or on the way to an 8:30 p.m. departure. Pricing sits in standard airport territory: think $3–$4 for bottled soda or water, $7–$10 for pre-made sandwiches, and $2–$4 for basic snacks.

If you want something quick to carry onto a regional jet from the Main concourse, this works for a last-minute sandwich, protein bar, or coffee. For anything hot or more substantial, you’ll be happier walking a few minutes toward the main food court area in the same Main terminal, where full-service spots and made-to-order counters live.

Selection leans heavily on shelf-stable options and pre-wrapped items, so don’t expect fresh-made salads or custom drinks. On the upside, that means no long prep times; you’re in and out in under 5 minutes, even when several flights out of OKC’s Main terminal are boarding at once.

Tip: If your gate is at the far end of the Main concourse, stop at Local Market on the way; there may not be another shop with this level of snack stock closer to the end gates.
