Gate 18 sit-down burgers without leaving OKC’s Main Terminal
Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers sits opposite Gate 18 in the Main Terminal, so you can keep one eye on boarding groups while you eat. It opens early at 5am and runs through the evening to 8pm, seven days a week. Everything is post-security, so this is an option only after TSA at OKC.
The menu sticks to Freddy’s standards: thin grilled steakburgers, shoestring fries, hot dogs, and frozen custard concretes. Prices run in typical airport-fast-food territory; think roughly high single digits for a combo instead of street pricing. If you want something quick, the single or double steakburger and fries are the safe order at Gate 18.
Breakfast is limited but workable for a 6:30am departure, since they’re already serving by 5am. Later in the day, the frozen custard concretes and sundaes show up at almost every table, and they’re the main reason people pick this over another generic burger at OKC. Expect standard soft drinks; nothing fancy on the drink list.
No major complaint pattern shows up yet, but build in a 15–20 minute buffer if you’re hitting Freddy’s during the 4pm–7pm bank of departures near Gate 18. Lines can form when two or three flights board close together, and seating fills fast in that little pocket of the Main Terminal.
Tip: if your gate is 15–20, grab your order here at Gate 18, then walk it back to the quieter seating near your actual boarding door.
