Gate-side Whopper run in Terminal 1
This Burger King sits in Terminal 1 at Kahului (OGG), handy if your interisland flight boards nearby and you just want something familiar before takeoff. It’s inside security, so you’re not burning time going back through checkpoints just to grab a burger.
Hours run daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., which covers the early-morning island hops as well as most evening departures. Morning flights get the standard BK breakfast lineup; later in the day it’s Whoppers, chicken sandwiches, and fries at typical airport-fast-food pricing, a bit higher than off-airport Maui locations.
Because it’s a standard Burger King, the menu sticks to basics: Whopper combos, chicken nuggets, soft drinks, and coffee. Combos usually land in the low-teens in dollars, cheaper than sit-down spots elsewhere in OGG but more than you’d pay in town. It’s an easy move if you just want a known quantity and don’t feel like hunting for something local.
Terminal 1 at OGG isn’t huge, so walking from most gates to this Burger King usually takes under 5 minutes. Lines spike in the 8:00–10:00 a.m. and 5:00–7:00 p.m. banks when multiple flights depart, and seating in the immediate area can fill quickly. Build an extra 10 minutes if you’re hitting it in those windows.
