Valet

Daily valet at OAK runs roughly double the Economy rate.

Valet Parking at Oakland International sits in the Premium Parking area directly in front of the terminals, a short walk to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. You pull up, hand over the keys, and skip the hunt for a spot or any shuttle rides. Pricing tracks at the top end of OAK’s on-airport options, reflecting that front-door drop-off and pickup.

This is true valet service, not just “park close.” You drive to the dedicated Valet Parking lane in front of the terminal doors, a staff member takes the vehicle, and you walk straight into security for Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 in under 5 minutes. That’s the trade: higher daily rate in exchange for dropping the car as if it were rideshare.

Hours follow airport operations, so you can use Valet Parking for early-morning departures and late-night arrivals tied to the first and last bank of flights. Because it’s on-airport and right at the curb, you avoid the 10–15 minute shuttle rides that come with off-airport garages along Airport Access Road.

Think about cost versus stress: on longer trips of 5–7 days, that daily valet rate adds up quickly compared with OAK’s Economy or Daily lots, which sit farther from the terminals but still on airport grounds. For quick 1–3 day runs, the math starts to look more reasonable once you value cutting 20–30 minutes of parking time off each end of the trip.

Practical tip: Check current Valet Parking rates on the official OAK site before you leave; if the daily price jumps close to a rideshare round-trip, paying for a Lyft or Uber to Terminals 1 or 2 may make more sense.
