24/7 gyudon fix in T3: MATSUYA never closes
MATSUYA in Terminal T3 runs 00:00–24:00, so it catches late Jetstar and early Peach departures when most other food options are dark. It’s a fast Japanese chain setup: counter ordering, ticket machine, and quick trays out. You’re eating in minutes, not half an hour.
The shop sits landside in T3’s main food court area, handy if you’re shuttling between T2 and T3 or waiting on a late bus. Prices stay chain-level cheap for an airport: basic gyudon bowls usually land well under ¥1,000, and set meals with miso soup and rice only push slightly higher. Card works fine, but the ticket machine sometimes runs smoother with IC cards or cash.
Menu is standard MATSUYA Japanese cuisine: beef bowls, curry rice, yakiniku-style plates, miso soup, and salad add-ons. If you need calories fast before a domestic LCC hop, the regular gyudon or curry with extra rice is the move. Lighter eaters can stick to miso soup and salad, but portions across the board skew bigger than typical airport snacks.
Because it’s open 24 hours in T3, MATSUYA gets a mix of overnight airport staff and budget-airline passengers grabbing one last hot meal. That means it can look busy around big departures, but turnover is high and seats free up quickly. Expect more of a quick-service vibe than a sit-down restaurant.
Plan one thing: build in 15 extra minutes if you’re in T2 and walking over to T3 just to eat here, so you’re not speed-walking back to security with a full stomach.
