Yoshinoya

T2 0

Beef bowls under ¥600 in T2

Right in Terminal 2 at Narita, Yoshinoya is the quickest way to get a hot rice bowl without spending more than about ¥600–¥800. It’s past security, so you can eat after check-in and immigration instead of stressing near the gate on an empty stomach.

Menu is the standard Yoshinoya lineup: gyudon beef bowls in several sizes, curry rice, simple salads, and miso soup. A regular beef bowl usually lands around ¥500–¥600, and sets with soup and salad push closer to ¥800–¥900. Portions run smaller than in the city, but still enough to count as a real meal between long-haul flights.

Figure typical fast-food hours that track with flight banks in T2, roughly early morning to late evening, but not true 24 hours. It works well if you’re on JL or oneworld flights from T2 and have at least 25–30 minutes before boarding. Order at the counter, pay, and food usually lands on your tray within 5 minutes, even at peak times.

Best move is the standard gyudon with extra beef or extra green onions if that option is up on the board. Add a side of kimchi or a soft-boiled egg for another ¥100–¥150. If you’re sensitive to salt, skip doubling up on both miso soup and pickles in the same meal, since airport branches tend to season on the heavier side.

Yoshinoya in T2 is cash and card friendly, and most counters take major credit cards plus Suica/PASMO. Trays and water are self-service, and turnover is fast, so it’s an easy solo or short layover stop. One tip: if your gate is deep in the satellite pier, eat here first in the main T2 building; food options shrink and prices jump once you ride the shuttle out to the remote gates.
