Starbucks Coffee

T3 0

Gate-side caffeine in T3 before your LCC hop

This Starbucks Coffee sits airside in Narita Terminal 3, handy for Peach, Jetstar Japan, and other low-cost carriers using T3. It’s one of the few big-name coffee options in this terminal, so lines spike in the early morning rush before 8:00 and again around late afternoon departures.

Expect the standard Japan Starbucks lineup: hot and iced lattes, drip coffee, Frappuccinos, and seasonal specials. A tall latte runs roughly ¥450–¥520, and drip coffee is cheaper if you just want caffeine fast. Non-dairy options like soy and oat milk usually available, but they do run out during peak bank times.

Food here is the typical Starbucks mix of sandwiches, panini-style hot snacks, and sweet pastries. You’ll see items like ham and cheese toasties, chicken sandwiches, and melon pan or pound cakes in the case, usually priced in the ¥300–¥700 range. It’s enough for a quick airport breakfast or a light pre-flight bite without hunting down a full restaurant in T3.

Seating in T3 is tight, and this Starbucks mostly feeds takeaway. A few small tables and counter seats sit right by the store, but they turn over fast around 07:00–10:00. If you need laptop space, grab your drink here and walk 2–3 minutes toward the main common seating area near the food court, which has more power outlets.

Hours typically track the first and last LCC departures from T3, roughly from early morning to late evening, but closing can pull forward on light traffic days. If you land late on a domestic leg into Narita and connect out of T3 after 21:00, don’t assume it’s still open.

Tip: If your flight leaves from a remote stand, buy your drink and snack here at least 30 minutes before boarding time; the bus gates in T3 have almost nothing beyond basic vending machines.
