Gate-side basics in T1: FamilyMart keeps you covered

In Terminal T1 at Chubu Centrair, FamilyMart is the airport’s all-purpose stop for last‑minute snacks, drinks, and small travel items before your flight. Prices track closely to street level in Nagoya, so onigiri and sandwiches usually sit around the ¥130–¥350 mark instead of marked-up “airport” rates. It’s post-security, so you can buy drinks after the liquids check and walk straight to your gate.

Food options hit the usual コンビニ standards: rice balls, katsu or egg sandwiches, instant ramen cups, bento, and sweets, with many items under ¥500. The cold case typically has bottled tea, water, and coffee, plus a few energy drinks for early-morning departures out of T1. If you land late from an international flight, this is often one of the last places still serving real food at normal prices.

Beyond food, look for travel-sized toiletries, basic chargers, and stationery, all in the same compact footprint you’d see in a city FamilyMart. Need yen coins for coin lockers in T1 or the train station downstairs? Grabbing a couple of small items here is an easy way to break a ¥1,000 or ¥5,000 note. Staff move people through the register quickly, so even a short stop before boarding stays manageable.

One tip: lines spike about 20–30 minutes before big international departures out of T1, so if you want a specific bento or sandwich, shop as soon as you clear security instead of waiting for final boarding calls.
