Gate-side in Terminal 1, Riviera Chic leans into fashion basics

Right in Nice Terminal 1’s main airside shopping zone, Riviera Chic focuses on wearable Riviera-style clothing and accessories instead of logo-heavy souvenirs. You’ll see mid-range French and European brands with prices that usually sit in the €40–€120 range for clothing and around €25–€60 for scarves, costume jewelry, and small accessories. It feels more like a compact city boutique dropped into NCE than a generic airport shop.

Riviera Chic keeps the standard Terminal 1 airside hours, usually opening around the first departures and trading through to the last evening flights, so you can duck in before an early EasyJet or after a late Air France hop. Stock skews toward resort pieces: linen shirts, simple dresses, sunglasses, beach bags, and lightweight cover-ups that actually work once you land in Nice or connect on to Cannes or Monaco.

If you need something specific, look first at the accessories wall near the entrance; belts, scarves, and costume jewelry are the quickest upgrades and generally stay under €50. Clothing racks deeper in the store carry more seasonal pieces, with occasional markdowns on a single sale rail toward the back. Sizes can be limited to common EU ranges, and tailoring is obviously not an option, so don’t plan on major wardrobe overhauls here.

Cards are accepted for even small purchases, and prices include VAT since you’re in France, so there’s no airside duty-free angle. One practical tip: check your gate on the Terminal 1 screens before you start trying things on, then set a ten-minute cutoff so you’re not speed-walking to boarding with shopping bags in both hands.
