Gate-side groceries in Terminal 1

Right in Nice Terminal 1, Monop’ Daily works like a small city supermarket dropped into the concourse. You’ll see it near the main post-security shopping strip, with shelves of snacks, drinks, and ready-to-eat items you can carry straight to gates 1–10. Expect standard Monoprix-style branding and layout, not an airport souvenir shop vibe.

Opening hours track daytime flights in T1, typically from early morning through the last evening departures around 22:00. Pricing runs close to downtown Monoprix levels, so bottled water, soft drinks, and basic snacks come in under €3–4 instead of the €5+ you’ll see at some cafés. You can grab sandwiches, salads, and yogurts from the fridges if you want a simple meal without sitting down.

Monop’ Daily stocks basic travel fixes alongside food: think phone chargers, a few toiletries, and grab-and-go items like gum and mints by the tills. If you fly short-haul Schengen from Terminal 1, this is usually the cheapest way to assemble a picnic for the flight. For hot coffee or cooked food, you’ll still need one of the cafés nearby in T1’s main departures hall.

Card payment moves quickest here; contactless works for small spends under €50, which speeds things up when a couple of A320s board at the same time. Tip: pick up drinks and snacks here before you walk to the end gates in Terminal 1, where food options thin out and prices climb a notch.
