Premium covered spaces sit right next to Terminal 1 at P3
Parking P3 is the premium covered car park beside Terminal 1 at Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport, so you’re a short walk from the check-in desks. It’s signed as “P3 Premium” on airport approach roads and sits directly opposite the Terminal 1 building, cutting your curb-to-check-in walk to just a few minutes. If you’re flying from Terminal 2, factor in the free shuttle bus time between T1 and T2.
This is a fully covered multi-storey car park, which matters in July and August when Nice temperatures often push past 30°C and sun exposure can be rough on interiors. Height limits apply in P3, so standard cars and smaller SUVs are fine, but taller vans or roof-box setups may be turned away at the entrance barrier. The covered layout also gives you dry access if you hit one of those sudden Riviera thunderstorms.
P3 works best for trips of a few days when you want to be close to Terminal 1 check-in and arrivals. Online booking through the official Nice Airport system usually costs less than paying at the exit, and advance rates are often noticeably cheaper for stays of 2–5 days. Payment on-site runs through card machines at the pedestrian exits and at the drive-up barriers, so you don’t have to hunt for a main pay station in the terminal.
Wayfinding is straightforward: follow signs for Terminal 1, then “P3 Premium” as you approach the airport loop roads. If your flight leaves from Terminal 2, drop your luggage and passengers at T2 first, then park in P3 and ride the free shuttle back, which can add around 10–15 minutes in busy times. Take a photo of your level and sector before walking to the terminal; P3 fills up fast on Monday mornings and late Friday afternoons.
