35€ on the sign, 21€ if you’re Club Airport Premier
Terminal 2 at Nice doesn’t really have a separate “Club Airport Premier Lounge.” Instead, Club Airport Premier status works like a discount card into existing spaces, mainly the Canopy Lounge in T2. Standard Canopy walk-up is 35€ (about $50), but Gold and Platinum CAP members report paying 24.50€ or even 21€ at the same desk.
Think of it this way: your plastic says “Club Airport Premier,” the door says “Canopy Lounge.” You still enter via the regular Canopy reception in Terminal 2, airside after security, and present your CAP Gold or Platinum card to drop the price from 35€ down to the quoted 24.50€ or 21€. Hours track with normal Canopy Lounge operating times in T2, so you’re not dealing with some separate back-room facility.
Food, drink, and seating are exactly what the Canopy Lounge provides that day; there’s no parallel Club Airport Premier buffet or bar. If reviews say the Canopy spread is basic at 35€, the math changes when you’re paying 21€ thanks to CAP. At that point you’re comparing roughly 7€ per hour on a three-hour layover to sit, charge devices, and get a couple of drinks instead of buying 8€ coffees in the main terminal.
There’s no published list of “Club Airport Premier Lounge” amenities beyond the discount levels, just the standard Canopy offering: typical contract-lounge cold snacks, self-serve soft drinks, plus wine and spirits at the bar during normal operating hours. Seating in T2’s Canopy space fills around key departures to London and Paris, so that 21€ CAP rate looks better if you arrive 2 hours before your gate closes and actually get some use out of the chair and outlets.
Watch out for one thing: staff at the Canopy front desk may default to quoting the 35€ rate if you don’t show your CAP Gold or Platinum card first, so have the physical card or digital proof ready before they run the transaction. Also check that your CAP tier is current; the 24.50€ vs 21€ discount depends on whether you are Gold or Platinum at the time of travel, not the tier you applied for months ago.
Practical tip: if your T2 stop at Nice is under 60 minutes gate-to-gate, skip the discount and stay in the terminal; the CAP value really starts around the 2-hour mark when that 21€ or 24.50€ gets spread over a proper pre-flight sit-down.
