Newsstand Express

Gate-area grab-and-go at Newsstand Express

Near the gates in NAS Terminal A, Newsstand Express covers the basics: bottled water under $4, soft drinks, candy bars, gum, and a small rack of chips. It’s a straightforward stop when you just need something in hand before boarding rather than a sit-down option.

Newsstand Express also stocks magazines, paperbacks, and a few kids’ activity books, which helps on longer flights out of Terminals A and B. You’ll usually find regional titles alongside big US and UK publications, plus a modest selection of travel-sized toiletries if you forgot toothpaste or headphones.

Expect typical airport pricing: snacks and drinks run a bit higher than Nassau supermarkets, but in line with other Lynden Pindling shops. The store sits post-security, so you can buy water and carry it straight to your gate without worrying about another liquid check.

Hours generally track the morning and afternoon departure banks, with doors open before the first US flights start boarding around 6:00 am and staying open into the early evening. Selection thins toward the last bank of departures, especially cold drinks and the more popular magazines, so earlier is better if you’re picky.

Tip: Grab water and any last-minute reading at Newsstand Express right after security, then head to your gate and avoid the tighter queues at the smaller kiosks on the concourses.
