Gate-side glasses of Falanghina in Terminal 1

Ten minutes from most Schengen gates in Terminal 1, Wine Bar is the spot at Naples International Airport (NAP) if you want one last Campania pour before boarding. It sits airside, past security, in the main departures hall, so you’re safe to linger with a glass until your gate posts a final call.

As the name says, it’s wine-forward: expect several local options by the glass, usually including a crisp Falanghina or a red Aglianico in the €6–€9 range. Bottles run higher, often starting around €20, but work well if you’re a group of two or three. You’ll also see basic espresso at typical airport pricing, roughly €1.50–€2 at the bar.

Food is simple bar fare: think cold snacks and light bites you can eat in 15–20 minutes. You might find a board with cheese and salumi in the €10–€15 band, plus packaged items like taralli that travel well in a carry-on. Don’t expect a full hot meal here; if you need a proper plate of pasta or a large salad, plan to eat elsewhere in Terminal 1 before sitting down with wine.

Service runs to typical Italian bar style, with pay-at-the-counter common when it’s busy around the morning wave of departures between 7:00 and 10:00. Seating is a mix of bar stools and a few small tables; turnover is quick because most guests are within 45–60 minutes of boarding. With a 1000 rating in the airport’s own listings, it punches above the average generic café in the same hall.

Tip: if your gate is at the far end of Terminal 1, grab your glass or coffee here, then walk down with at least 10 minutes to spare; some remote stands at NAP still use bus boarding and call passengers earlier than you’d expect.
