Snack Bar

Gate-side caffeine fix by Terminal 1 security

Just past security in Terminal 1 at Naples International Airport, Snack Bar is the quick stop for a coffee and pastry before Schengen flights. It sits in the main departures hall, a short walk from several A-gates, so you can keep an eye on boarding times on the nearby screens while you order.

Opening hours usually match the first and last bank of departures out of NAP Terminal 1, with doors up around the early morning wave and staying open into the late evening Ryanair and easyJet slots. Expect pricing in the typical Italian airport range: an espresso costs a bit more than in town, and sandwiches and bottled drinks land solidly in "terminal markup" territory.

Food is basic bar fare: think pre-made panini, packaged snacks, and pastries rather than a full hot kitchen. If you want something you can eat at the gate in under 10 minutes, a prosciutto panino or simple croissant from Snack Bar does the job. Drink options run from espresso and cappuccino to soft drinks, water, and the usual bottled juices stacked in the chilled case.

Seating is limited near Snack Bar, mostly a few bar stools and some shared high tables in the Terminal 1 departures area. At busy midday departure banks, especially around holiday season flights, expect to stand with your coffee or carry it to your gate. Card payments work fine here, though small-value orders like a single espresso may move faster with cash coins.

Tip: if your flight from Terminal 1 boards from a remote stand by bus, grab your drink and snack here first; once you head down to the bus gates, options thin out and you may not see another coffee until you land.
