Near Gate B15 in Terminal 1, this is NAP’s only lounge

The VIP Lounge sits airside in Terminal 1 after security, serving all Schengen and non-Schengen departures from Naples International Airport. If you clear security with at least 90 minutes before departure, you actually have time to use it without clock-watching at the gate.

Access is in Terminal 1 only, so passengers on flights leaving from this terminal get the benefit; there’s no separate facility in any other part of NAP. Once you pass security, follow the signs for “VIP Lounge” rather than your gate number, then work back toward your boarding area with 25–30 minutes to spare.

The lounge sits on the airside level above the main departures floor, so you stay inside the secure zone the entire time. For anyone connecting through Naples, this means you don’t exit and re-enter security to reach it, which matters if your layover is under 2 hours.

Food and drink are standard contract-lounge fare, with snacks and light bites more than full meals. Prices for anything chargeable inside the lounge generally track terminal café pricing, so don’t expect big savings versus grabbing something in the main Terminal 1 food court.

Seating is mostly standard armchairs and café tables, and the space fills up in the morning rush between 07:00 and 10:00, when many Schengen flights push off from Terminal 1. If your flight leaves after 21:00, expect a quieter room and more power outlets free around the edges.

Because the VIP Lounge is airside, boarding announcements focus on flights leaving from the nearby B and C gates in Terminal 1. Keep your own timer running and aim to be at the gate 20 minutes before the time printed on your boarding pass, especially for buses to remote stands.

Pro tip: at Naples International Airport, build your pre-lounge schedule around security; once you clear into Terminal 1 airside, head straight to the VIP Lounge, then walk back to your gate when boarding shows “Go to gate” on the departure screens.
