Pizza Hyena

Pizza

1 $$$$ Post-security

One of Terminal 1’s only slice shops

Most of MYR Terminal 1 leans on burgers and fried chicken; Pizza Hyena fills the gap with basic slices and whole pies after security. You’ll find it airside in Terminal 1, on the main concourse, so it works for all post-security gates in this single-terminal setup.

Price-wise, Pizza Hyena sits in the $ tier, so it’s an easy call if you just want something cheap before a regional hop or an Allegiant run. Expect counter-service pizza by the slice plus standard fountain drinks, so you’re in and out quickly compared with a sit-down bar and grill.

Figure 10–15 minutes from joining the line to walking away with food at normal times, since everything runs through one service counter. That timing pairs well with MYR’s generally lighter crowds, and you can still make a boarding call at a nearby gate within a 5-minute walk.

Menu details are fairly simple: think cheese and pepperoni as the reliable options, plus a few rotating toppings depending on the day. With no strong reviews calling out specialties, safest move is a pepperoni slice and a drink, which usually costs less than a fast-food combo elsewhere in Terminal 1.

Seating is mostly shared with the concourse, so plan on grabbing one of the open tables within sight of nearby gates. That setup makes it easy to watch the monitors and stay within a 2–3 minute walk of boarding for most MYR departures.

Tip: clear security first, then hit Pizza Hyena on your way to the gate; at MYR’s size, you can comfortably eat here with about 40 minutes left before departure.
