$18 per day beats the closer MTY lots for long trips
Estacionamiento Larga Estancia is the long-term lot at Monterrey International Airport (MTY) and runs at $18 per day under the current published rates. The airport itself calls it the most affordable official option, so it makes the most sense once you cross into overnight or multi-day territory. It sits a short walk from Terminals A, B and C, so you trade a few minutes on foot for lower pricing.
The walk runs about 3–5 minutes depending on which MTY terminal you use and how much luggage you have. This is standard open-air surface parking, not a deck, so pick your row landmark when you park and snap a photo. You stay landside the whole time; there is no shuttle loop to wait on, just a direct walk toward the terminal doors.
Rates are tiered: the first 10 minutes are free, then it’s about $1 per hour for the first three hours, and after that the system flips you into the $18 per day long-stay pricing. The airport has also flagged a planned increase to $20 per day after the third hour starting July 1, so double-check current numbers if you park around that date.
Payment works at the exit: you roll up to the gate in your car and pay right there, with card payments accepted at the reader. Regulars use this lot almost exclusively for overnight and longer trips and skip it for quick pickups, since the short free window disappears fast. One last tip: if you are catching an early flight from Terminal A or B, park toward the side closest to your terminal path so that 3-minute walk stays 3 minutes with bags.
