The Club MSY

Main Terminal / Concourse A Open · 04:00-21:00 85 seats showers Day pass $50

85 seats, one shower, and the only independent lounge at MSY

The Club MSY sits post-security above Concourse A, on the third floor near the concourse entrance, and it’s the one Priority Pass-style lounge in the airport. Hours run 04:00–21:00, so it catches the early departures and most evening flights. Entry works via Priority Pass and similar programs or a $50 day pass, but all access is capped at about 3 hours before departure (2.5 hours for most pass programs).

Mobile ordering is the headline here: scan the QR code at your seat and hot food usually shows up in 10–15 minutes. The printed menus and the app don’t always match, and the kitchen swaps items, so don’t get attached to a single dish. Still, this feels more like a small restaurant than the snack bowls you’ll see in a typical US airline club at MSY.

The bar is a real draw, with full pours instead of just wine in a plastic cup, as one YouTube review put it. Expect a short list of cocktails, beer, and wine included in entry, with some premium spirits upcharge-style. For a $50 day pass, two proper drinks and a hot meal usually beat buying the same at a bar downstairs.

The space itself now has about 85 seats after the 2026 reconfiguration, a noticeable improvement if you remember the older, tighter layout. Seating splits into window-side armchairs, small tables for two, and some work-friendly spots. Power outlets sit between many seats, so topping up your phone before a flight out of Concourse A or B is realistic.

There’s a single shower inside the lounge, and it’s reservation-only. Regulars ask for a shower slot right at check-in, especially before mid-morning and late-afternoon banks, when Priority Pass reviews say the lounge feels crowded. Bathrooms overall get good marks for being kept very clean throughout the day.

Watch out for capacity controls: during peak waves, Priority Pass users do sometimes get turned away at the door. Some Priority Pass tiers allow pre-booking, which helps lock in a spot during the 04:00–09:00 rush or the late-afternoon departures. Staff generally stay on top of clearing plates, which keeps the small footprint from feeling chaotic.

One last tip: since the lounge is just above Concourse A with Concourse B directly in front of it, plan to leave about 10 minutes before boarding if your gate is at the far end of B; for A-gates, 5 minutes is usually plenty.
