Escape Lounge

Priority Pass at MSY sends you to The Club, not Escape

At Louis Armstrong New Orleans (MSY) Terminal 1, Priority Pass and pay-in traffic go to The Club MSY; there is no separate Escape Lounge-branded space here despite what some apps still list. If your card or app says “Escape Lounge” at MSY, it actually means The Club MSY post-security in the main terminal.

The terminal at MSY is a single building labelled Terminal 1, so you only have one checkpoint to clear before heading to a lounge. Once you’re airside, follow signs for lounges and Priority Pass to The Club MSY; you won’t find any doors, signage, or staff using the Escape Lounge name anywhere in the building.

The only pay-per-use lounge in Terminal 1 is The Club MSY, with day passes typically sold around the $45–$50 mark at other locations in the chain. Access also runs through memberships like Priority Pass or LoungeKey, again under The Club MSY, not Escape Lounge. If your bank benefit lists “Escape Lounge / The Club,” MSY falls on the “The Club” side of that branding.

Most third-party directories, including Priority Pass as of 2024, list one contract lounge at MSY with capacity limits that can trigger waitlists during Delta, Southwest, and United bank times. Those listings call out departure-only access in Terminal 1 and make no mention of any separate Escape Lounge entrance, food station, or bar layout specific to the Escape concept.

If you see “Escape Lounge – MSY” on an app, treat it as a naming glitch tied to the common “Escape / The Club” network, not a second lounge. Build in an extra 5–10 minutes to walk from your gate toward the main concourse lounge signage and confirm at the door that your specific membership is accepted at The Club MSY.
