Disabled Parking

Accessible

24 marked accessible spaces sit closest to MSN’s Main terminal doors.

Disabled Parking at Dane County Regional (MSN) sits in the parking ramp directly across from the Main terminal, so the walk from car to check-in is short and flat. Spaces are clearly signed as accessible, with extra width on both sides so lifts, walkers, and wheelchairs have room to move without crowding the next vehicle.

These accessible spaces are in the hourly/daily ramp, which uses the same ticketed entry as standard parking and charges the posted ramp rate per hour and per day. You pull a ticket at the gate, park in any clearly marked disabled stall, and pay at the exit or pay-on-foot machines inside the ramp near the terminal walkway.

Curb cuts line up with the closest crosswalks between the ramp and the Main terminal entrance, so you roll or walk straight from your vehicle to the sidewalk without hunting for a ramp. Elevators connect each parking level to the enclosed skywalk, which keeps you out of Wisconsin snow and rain on the way into the building.

To use Disabled Parking, you need a valid state-issued disabled plate or hang tag displayed before entering the ramp. Airport police and parking staff patrol the accessible rows and can ticket or tow vehicles parked there without proper credentials, even during short stops for pickup or drop-off.

Build a small buffer: aim to park 30–45 minutes before boarding, since you still pass through check-in and security after leaving the ramp. If you use wheelchair assistance from the airline, request it on your booking and again at check-in so staff can meet you near the Main terminal entrance closest to the ramp skywalk.
