T1’s Starbucks is the spot for a big “non-French” latte

In Terminal T1 airside, Starbucks is the only global chain doing Venti lattes and iced caramel macchiatos instead of tiny 6–8 cl espressos. One Google reviewer even wrote that Starbucks “saved” them after two weeks of mini French coffees. If you want the exact same caramel syrup and milk ratios you know from home, this is the closest you’ll get at MRS.

This Starbucks sits in T1 beyond security, so you’re fine staying airside once you’re through. It runs typical airport hours that cover the main bank of morning departures out of Marseille Provence, roughly from the first wave of flights until the evening. Lines spike around 06:30–09:00 when the Schengen flights push, then again before late‑afternoon rotations.

Budget on $$ pricing: a latte here runs noticeably higher than in Marseille city, and several reviews mention extra surcharges for oat, soy, or almond milk. One traveller even called the prices “brutal even by airport standards.” If you just want caffeine and don’t care about Starbucks flavors, the more traditional French cafés in T1 are usually cheaper.

Order strategy: stick to simple lattes, Americanos, and straight cold brews if consistency matters to you. The upside is size: Grande and Venti iced drinks are a draw here because that format is rare at the other T1 spots like Paul.
