One snack counter covers all of Molokai Airport’s food

At MKK’s T1, the Coffee/Snack Shop sits landside near Gates 1–2 and keeps the whole airport fed from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. This is it for food: basic coffee, soft drinks, packaged chips, candy bars, and a few grab-and-go items before you clear the single security checkpoint.

Prices run higher than town but not outrageous for an island airport; think convenience-store levels rather than resort markup. You’ll usually find bottled water, sodas, and small snack packs that work as a quick holdover on a 25–40 minute island hop to Honolulu or Maui. Don’t count on made-to-order meals or specialty diets here.

Regulars flying out of Gates 1–2 typically eat properly in Kaunakakai or at home, then use this counter only for a coffee top-up or a last cold drink. With the shop closing at 5:00 p.m., late-afternoon flights can hit the tail end of stock, so grab what you want on first pass instead of assuming you’ll circle back.

Watch out for very limited airport amenities beyond this one Coffee/Snack Shop: no sit-down restaurant, no bar, and almost no retail beyond basic travel snacks. If your taxi or ride drops you early, it’s this counter, the seating area, and your phone. Practical move: bring a real meal and use the shop for liquids and a backup snack before you clear security.
