Third-level yellow section EV chargers with ChargePoint access
The Electric Vehicle Charging Area at MKE ties into the airport’s existing Hourly/Daily parking, with ChargePoint stations in the Daily section and Saver Lot A. Pricing is simple: you pay the regular parking rate for your chosen lot plus a $5 charging fee. This setup works best if you want to park, charge, and leave the car for at least a day while you fly out of the Main Terminal.
In the Daily section, chargers sit on the 3rd level, yellow section, aisle E. That’s inside the main parking structure, closest to the terminal doors, so it cuts walking time if you have luggage. Daily Parking runs at the standard terminal-garage rates, then ChargePoint adds the $5 session on top, so budget both pieces if you’re gone more than a night or two.
Saver Lot A also has ChargePoint stations just east of the main entrance, marked in the lot map as EV spaces. You still pay the Saver Lot A parking rate, then the same $5 charging fee per session on the ChargePoint side. The trade-off: longer shuttle time vs. the Daily garage, but a lower per-day parking bill if your trip runs several days.
Regulars with EVs aim straight for either the Daily 3rd-level yellow E aisle or the Saver Lot A entrance row to lock in a charging spot, then plug in through their existing ChargePoint account or app. Because stalls are limited in both the Daily section and Saver Lot A, plan to arrive 15–20 minutes earlier than usual in case you need a lap or two to find an open port.
Practical tip: add your ChargePoint account and payment method in the app before driving to MKE so you can start a session the moment you park on level 3 yellow E or in Saver Lot A.
