Hudson

Gate-area staple near security: Hudson at MHT

Just past security in the Main Terminal, Hudson is the standard newsstand-convenience combo for last-minute grabs before boarding. You’ll see it along the concourse once you clear TSA, so it’s an easy stop without adding extra walking time to most gates. Think quick snacks, drinks, and reading material more than sit-down anything.

Hours track with flight banks, usually opening ahead of the first departures and staying open until the last evening flights push out of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. If you have an early morning departure around 5–6 a.m., this is often the only place open for bottled drinks and packaged food before you board.

Prices run a bit above street level: expect around $3–4 for bottled water or soft drinks and $2–4 for candy or chips. There’s the usual mix of travel-sized toiletries, phone chargers, and headphones, helpful if you forgot a cable and don’t want to rely on in-seat power actually working.

Hudson also stocks regional souvenirs branded with “New Hampshire” and “Manchester,” plus basic apparel like T-shirts and caps that fit in a carry-on. Magazines, crossword books, and paperbacks line one side of the shop, useful if your airline still flies without seatback screens and you didn’t preload streaming options.

Tip: Stop here for snacks and water right after security; options thin out quickly as you get closer to some outlying gates in the Main Terminal.
