Vino Volo Market

B

Gate B-side wine bar and shop with grab-and-go bottles

Vino Volo Market sits in Terminal B at MEM and leans hard into wine: by the glass, by the flight, and full bottles you can take onto the plane on many domestic routes. It’s past security, so you’re fine on time if your flight boards from any B gate. Expect airport pricing here; a glass often lands in the $12–$18 range depending on the label.

Hours tend to track peak bank times in Terminal B, generally opening for late-morning departures and running into early evening, but don’t count on a 5 a.m. pour. The space also runs as a small market, so beyond wine you’ll see packaged snacks, chocolates, and a few branded items that actually travel well in a carry-on. Seating is limited, so plan on a quick stop rather than a long layover base.

Wine flights are the main play: you can usually pick themed sets that move from lighter whites to heavier reds, poured in 2–3 oz tastes. If you’re not drinking, they stock bottled water and soft drinks, but pricing there is higher than the newsstand down the hall in B. Food is mostly pre-packaged cheeses, charcuterie, and crackers meant to pair with the wine, not a full meal.

Watch your time: payment and pours can slow down when two or three groups hit at once, and it’s easy to burn 20 minutes waiting on a flight and a snack board. Tip: if you see a line, skip the bar service, grab a chilled half-bottle and packaged cheese from the cooler, pay at the counter, and head back to your gate in Terminal B before boarding starts.
