Gate A10 pizza and bar when you want a sit-down
Stage Left Pizza, Bar, & Grille sits just past security in Terminal A by gate A10, so it works for A and C flyers who don’t mind a short walk. It runs on airport time, opening about 90 minutes before the first departure and staying open until roughly 30 minutes after the last flight pushes back. If you land late from an 8:30 p.m. arrival, this is often still serving when some grab-and-go spots are already closed.
Menu focus is personal pizzas, burgers, and bar staples, with most mains landing in the mid- to high-teens in dollars, keeping it firmly in the $$ range for MEM. The personal pizzas are the signature move here; you’ll see plenty of 8–10 inch pies on tables instead of larger shareable pies. Portions run big enough that a pizza and a soft drink can carry you through a 2–3 hour connection without hunting for snacks later.
The bar runs a standard domestic beer lineup plus a few recognizable labels in the mid-shelf spirits range, poured from a full-length counter that seats around a dozen people. Draft beers typically price a few dollars under a basic airport cocktail, which can climb into the low teens. If you have a 45-minute layover and sit at the bar instead of a table, you generally get your pizza and drink out faster.
Stage Left opens early enough to catch some of the first bank of morning departures from A and C, so you can sit down around 5:00–6:00 a.m. on heavy days and still make a 7:30 a.m. flight. Kitchen timing for a personal pizza usually runs around 15–20 minutes when the terminal is busy, and closer to 10–12 minutes in slow mid-afternoon periods.
Practical tip: on tighter connections under an hour, grab a bar stool at Stage Left near gate A10 and order a personal pizza and drink together in the first 5 minutes; that move often saves you 10 minutes versus waiting on a server at a table.
