Panini Express

B

Near the B concourse gates, Panini Express handles quick fixes

Panini Express sits airside in Terminal B, a short walk from several Delta and Southwest gates, and is one of the faster food options before morning departures. It leans on pressed sandwiches, basic breakfast items, and grab-and-go snacks, which keeps lines moving during the 6:00–9:00 a.m. rush. Expect mostly counter service with limited seating, so plan to carry your food back toward your gate if the stools are full.

Sandwiches generally run in the $9–$13 range, with pre-made wraps and salads a couple of dollars less. You’ll see standard panini builds like turkey and cheese or ham and Swiss, plus a few veggie-leaning options, all assembled and grilled to order on a press. Portions skew more “airport lunch” than full dinner plate, so a panini plus chips or a cookie is a better bet if your next leg stretches past two hours.

Breakfast at Panini Express usually centers on heated breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and drip coffee in the $3–$5 range, which can work for a quick bite before the first wave of B concourse departures. Coffee quality is serviceable but not specialty level, and there’s typically no made-to-order espresso. If your flight leaves before 6:00 a.m., give yourself a backup plan, since opening times can slide a few minutes later than posted.

Cold drinks sit in coolers right by the counter, so it’s easy to grab a bottled water or soda for $3–$4 while your panini presses. The same area stocks chips, candy, and a few protein bars, useful if you’re tight on time or boarding zone is already lining up at B gates. Service speed depends heavily on how many sandwiches hit the press at once, so a visible stack of tickets usually means a 10–15 minute wait.

Tip: if your layover is under 30 minutes, grab a pre-made wrap or salad from the cooler at Panini Express rather than waiting for a hot sandwich to run through the press.
