Gate B14-B16 has Grizz Grill, MEM’s main sports bar.
This is the sit-down spot in Terminal B if you want a burger and a game before boarding. Grizz Grill sits by gates B14–B16, post-security, with bar seating facing the TVs and a row of two-tops along the concourse windows. It runs from about 90 minutes before the first departure in B until 30 minutes after the last flight pushes, so you’re covered for early banks and late-night delays.
Menu is straight American sports bar: burgers, wings, salads, and draft beer. The Grizz Burger is the signature move here and the safest bet if you’re only eating once at MEM. Expect mains in the mid-teen dollar range ($$ tier) and beers priced like a typical airport bar. Portions are decent for a terminal restaurant, and you can usually get in and out in under 45 minutes if you sit at the bar and order the burger.
Service pace tracks flight times: when a bank of Delta and Southwest departures out of B14–B16 lines up, the bar crowds quickly and tickets slow. During those peaks, assume 20 minutes for food instead of 10, and plan your order accordingly. Staff generally keep an eye on boarding times if you mention your gate and departure time, which helps if you’re cutting it close on a connection through Terminal B.
There’s no separate grab-and-go counter here, so you’re committing to a sit-down visit. If you just need something fast, the better move is a snack from a nearby B concourse kiosk and a drink on the plane. If you do sit, stick with the Grizz Burger or wings and skip anything that sounds fancier than a sports bar needs to be. Tip: grab a bar stool facing the TVs closest to B14 so you can watch your gate while you eat.
