Valet Parking

Terminal curbside

No curbside valet lines up at MEM’s A, B, or C doors.

Memphis International lists short-term, long-term, economy, Blue/Yellow, oversize, accessible, cell phone, and employee parking on its official site, but there is no terminal-side valet product run by the airport itself. If you pull up to the departures curb at A, B, or C, you can drop off passengers and bags, but you can’t hand your keys to airport staff and walk inside.

The only close-in parking with terminal-level access is the on-site garage connected to the main building, where short-term rates start higher than economy and long-term but still require you to self-park. MEM’s economy and long-term lots sit farther out, with shuttle service to the terminal, again with no option for staff to park your car or retrieve it curbside. That gap is what pushes valet-minded travelers to look off-airport.

Fast Park on Winchester Road, roughly a 5–10 minute shuttle ride from MEM, pitches itself as the next best thing to valet, with covered self-park spaces and frequent shuttles that pick you up at your car. Staff load bags into the shuttle, hand you a claim ticket, and then drop you back at your exact parking space on return, so the only thing missing versus true valet is leaving your car at the terminal curb.

Some Google reviewers call out their surprise that MEM lacks any official curbside valet, especially when they compare it to other mid-sized airports that offer premium drop-off services. That feedback shows up most from business travelers on tight schedules who arrive expecting a valet stand at departures and instead have to pivot to the garage or economy shuttle.

One practical tip: if you want a valet-style feel, book Fast Park or another covered off-airport lot ahead of time, then budget an extra 20 minutes for the shuttle loop before your flight from A, B, or C.
