Blue/Yellow Lot is Memphis International Airport’s true overflow option at $9 per day, cheaper than the main garages and economy when those start to fill up. It’s a remote lot, not walkable to Terminals A, B, or C, and it only comes into play on busy days when the closer long-term areas are packed.

The Blue side is the primary lot; the Yellow side only opens when Blue is full, and attendants then direct cars over instead of letting you pick it on your own. There’s no posted hourly rate here, just the flat $9 daily charge, so it suits trips of at least 24 hours rather than short drop-ins.

A free shuttle bus links Blue/Yellow to the terminal, with most travelers reporting about 10–15 minutes each way once you’re on board. The shuttle adds real time versus walking from a garage, so on peak days regulars budget an extra 20–30 minutes door to door to cover waits plus the ride.

Shuttles run early and late, but a few reviewers mention slower pickups from Blue for very early-morning returns and some inconsistent wait times on holidays and Sunday nights. One Google review called out a 10–15 minute added delay in both directions when the garages were full and Blue was the only option.

Watch out for two things: Blue/Yellow is credit-card-only at the exit gates, and signage on where to stand for the return shuttle in the Blue lot can feel thin, especially in the dark. Practical move: snap a quick photo of your row sign and nearest shuttle stop as soon as you park so the 11 p.m. walk back to your car is painless.
