Three minutes from TSA, The Club MDW sits at Concourse B’s entrance
This is Midway’s only shared-use lounge, sitting just off the Central Market near Concourse B, and it runs daily from 04:00 to 22:00. Location is the whole value prop: from here, almost every gate in the Main terminal runs under a five-minute walk, so you can duck in between short turns without stressing about a last-minute boarding call.
Access comes via Priority Pass, The Club membership, or a walk-up day pass at $50. Entry rules cap you at three hours before scheduled departure on day-pass style access, so timing matters. If you already hold Priority Pass, this is a decent stop; paying $50 cash only makes sense if you have a longer delay and plan to eat and sit the whole clock.
The space is small: official numbers say 67 seats, 96 max occupancy, which explains why it feels tight on weekday afternoons. Layout is basic—standard lounge chairs around low tables plus a few high-tops near the buffet. Power outlets sit along the walls and by some two-top tables; if you see a corner seat with both power and a side table, grab it, because those go first during the 16:00–18:00 bank.
Food sits on a single buffet line with hot and cold items and soft drinks. Expect a couple of hot trays (soup, pasta, or breakfast eggs earlier in the day), salad bar basics, packaged snacks, and a soda fountain. The Points Guy called it “bare-bones” with “no real amenities,” and that tracks: this is more about a seat, Wi-Fi, and free bites than cocktails or premium dining.
There are two gender-neutral restrooms inside the lounge, and both include changing tables, which is a win for families compared with hunting for stalls in the main concourse. Wi-Fi comes through the airport system and is fast enough for email and streaming; plan on around 20–30 minutes to eat, recharge devices, and hit the restroom before heading to your B or C gate.
Regulars slide in right after clearing security, especially off early flights landing around 06:00–08:00, tap their Priority Pass, grab a quick plate from the buffet, charge phones to 80%, then walk out when their gate posts “boarding.” Watch out for the early evening crunch; if you walk in and see bodies standing near the entrance, turn around and just head toward your gate. One final tip: time your arrival about 90 minutes before departure to stay inside the three-hour rule but still get real use out of the visit.
