RFID tap-in at MDT’s garage quietly unlocks a $15/day deal

Xpress PARK is Harrisburg International’s RFID-based program that links your license plate and a physical card to automatic billing in the Main Terminal garage and long-term lot. You pay a one-time $10 enrollment fee for the RFID card, then your future entries and exits run ticketless with charges posting straight to your saved card.

Once you’re in, Xpress PARK works the same in both the garage (normally $20/day) and the long-term lot (around $10/day). You swipe the RFID card at the gate, park, and swipe again when you leave; the system emails a receipt within minutes. No pay-on-foot machines, no lines at exit booths, and no lost paper tickets to argue over.

The quiet perk is the garage discount after 96 consecutive hours. With Xpress PARK, any stay that runs past that mark drops from the standard $20/day to $15/day for each additional day in the garage. That pulls multi-day pricing closer to long-term lot rates while keeping the shorter walk to the Main Terminal check-in counters.

Xpress PARK also layers in a basic rebate: you earn 1 point per $1 spent in both the garage and long-term lot. At 200 points, you get $10 off; at 1,000 points, you can knock $50 off a single bill. Points hit the same account regardless of where you park, so a few four-day work trips can cover a later week-long vacation stay.

Regulars who fly from MDT a few times a month enroll once, then let RFID do the work on every trip. The usual play: garage on 1–3 day runs, long-term lot on longer ones, always earning toward discounts.
