Disney Springs’ Wine Bar George shows up again in Terminal C
This offshoot of the Disney Springs original sits airside in MCO Terminal C, so you’re past security before you see the big “Wine Bar George” sign. It pulls a 29 rating, which puts it near the top of the terminal’s sit-down options. Think actual wine program, not the usual generic cab/merlot/pinot trio poured from mystery bottles.
The draw is the by-the-ounce pours: you can taste higher-end wines in 1, 3, or 6 ounce pours instead of committing to a full $14–$20 glass. Staff are used to park-goers and cruise passengers, so they’re good at quick recommendations if you say “I’ve got 40 minutes and like Napa reds.” You’ll see flights built off 3-ounce pours if you want to compare regions without killing your per diem.
Food is wine-bar style, not burgers-and-fries. Expect small plates and boards in the $12–$25 range: things like charcuterie, hummus, and shareable bites that work for two people who both have boarding groups at C gates. Portions aren’t huge, so treat this as a light meal or pre-flight snack, not your only food for a 5-hour leg to LAX.
Value depends on your expectations: compared with a $10 airport house wine, a $7–$9 3-ounce pour of something interesting feels like a fair trade. Compared with grabbing a $6 beer from a quick-service stand near C gates, it’s a splurge. If you care about what’s in the glass, this is one of the few places in MCO where the list actually matters.
Tip: Sit at the bar if you can and say upfront how many minutes you have before boarding; the bartenders in Terminal C pace flights well and will steer you to pours and plates that realistically fit a 30–45 minute window.
