Starbucks

B

That big Starbucks in the Terminal B atrium is the meetup spot

This Starbucks sits landside in the main atrium on the Terminal B side of MCO, right before you split off toward the A and B security checkpoints. Families use it as the rendezvous point when some fly Southwest or JetBlue from B and others head for Delta or United from A, because everyone passes this atrium anyway after check-in and baggage drop.

Being landside means you can grab coffee here even if you’re just dropping someone off at Level 3 check-in in Terminal B and not flying. It’s also handy if your group is on different airlines and meeting before security rather than at the Airside 1, 2, 3, or 4 Starbucks locations. Expect standard Starbucks pricing for MCO: tall brewed coffee in the $3–$4 range, espresso drinks around $5–$7 depending on size and syrups.

Menu is the usual national lineup: breakfast sandwiches warmed in a turbo oven, cake pops, and pastries, plus the full espresso bar with lattes, Americanos, cold brew, and seasonal Frappuccinos. If you want something quick before TSA, the bacon, gouda & egg sandwich or the spinach, feta & egg‑white wrap work as a handheld you can finish during the 10–15 minute walk from the atrium to most security lanes on the B side.

Because MCO’s Terminal B check-in area can be slammed between 5:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., lines at this Starbucks regularly spill into the atrium. Figure 10–20 minutes in peak morning or holiday rush, and under 10 minutes midday. If you just need caffeine before a 7:00 a.m. departure, consider grabbing brewed coffee here and saving the elaborate drink for an airside Starbucks closer to your gate.

Practical tip: agree on “meet by the Terminal B atrium Starbucks at Level 3” in your group chat, and set the time at least 45 minutes before the earliest boarding time to leave room for ordering, bathroom stops, and security.
