Right past Terminal A security, this Starbucks is the caffeine stop

This Starbucks sits landside in the big MCO atrium on the Terminal A side, just beyond the security checkpoints and before the trams out to the A-gates. Regulars hit it immediately after TSA, grab their espresso, then ride the short tram to their airside concourse. If you’re on the A side already, this is faster than doubling back to hunt for coffee near the gates.

Hours here usually track with the early bank of departures, opening before 5:00 a.m. on peak days and running into the evening rush around 8:00–9:00 p.m. Exact closing can slide later on weekends and holidays. Figure it’s open for the first wave of 6:00–7:00 a.m. flights, but don’t count on a post‑10:00 p.m. latte after late arrivals.

Menu is standard Starbucks: tall drip runs around $3, most grande lattes land in the $5–$6 range, and breakfast sandwiches sit close to $5 each. Mobile order through the Starbucks app can sometimes work here, but the airport location tag is easy to miss; double‑check you’ve selected the MCO Terminal A atrium store before paying.

Lines spike in 15–20 minute waves right after each security surge, especially from about 6:30 to 9:00 a.m. and again around mid‑afternoon. One plus: you’re still landside, so you can spread out with your drink in the atrium seating under the big central skylight before taking the 2–3 minute tram ride to your gate area.

Tip: if your departure is out of Terminal C or the B side, grab your coffee here only if you already came through A’s security; otherwise, use the Starbucks closer to your check‑in zone so you’re not crossing terminals with a cup and a clock ticking.
