Terminal B’s sit-down steakhouse with a real bar
Outback Steakhouse in Terminal B is one of the few places at MCO where you can ride out a two-hour delay at a proper table with full bar service. It sits airside in B, so this is for passengers already through security, not meeters and greeters. Expect the standard Outback menu: steaks, burgers, chicken, big salads, and shareable apps sized for people who skipped lunch before a 6 p.m. flight.
You’re looking at typical chain pricing here: burgers in the mid-teens, steaks climbing into the $20–$30 range, and cocktails running roughly airport-normal. The menu leans heavy, so it works better before a 3-hour flight to Dallas than before a 45-minute hop to Tampa. Portions match land-side Outback, which is rare for an airport outlet that could shrink plates and still fill every seat.
The bar is the main draw, with full liquor plus the usual beer taps and wine by the glass. It’s one of the more booze-forward options in Terminal B, so seats can disappear fast during evening banks of departures around 5–8 p.m. If you want a proper pour and a steak instead of plastic cutlery and a wrap, this is the spot. Figure on 45–60 minutes for a relaxed meal, longer if you stack apps and drinks.
Food is what you’d expect from a 29-rated chain outlet: solid but not special. Safer bets: ribeye or sirloin, loaded baked potato, and the onion-heavy appetizers if you don’t mind boarding smelling like fried stuff. Lighter side exists but is more “airport compromise” than health food. Service pace can slow when three delayed flights dump into B at once, so don’t cut it close to boarding time posted on your gate.
Tip: If your gate is in the far B-side 80s or 90s, ask your server to drop the check about 20 minutes before boarding so you have time for the walk and a restroom stop en route.
