Garage Parking

On-site garage

3–5 minute covered walk to Terminal T, even in bad weather

Garage Parking sits directly across from Kansas City International’s single Terminal T, with a covered pedestrian bridge that keeps you inside from car to check-in in about 3–5 minutes. It’s the closest on-site option and aimed at people who value time over savings. Daily rates run higher than the Economy lots, but you trade that for zero shuttle waits and a quick walk to security.

The garage connects to the terminal at multiple entry points, all signed for Terminal T departures and arrivals, so you don’t have to guess which level to park on. Elevators and stairs run between floors, and you can usually get from your parking spot to the terminal doors in under 10 minutes even if you land on an upper level. Keep your ticket handy; pay stations sit near the pedestrian paths back to the garage.

Compared with off-site parking that can add 15–25 minutes of shuttle time, Garage Parking works well for early morning flights or tight schedules. You park on airport property, stay under cover the whole time, and cut down the margin you need to build into your arrival. If the forecast calls for snow, heavy rain, or summer storms, the covered walk to Terminal T is a real advantage over open lots.

One tip: snap a photo of the level and row signs before heading to Terminal T. The garage is large, and a quick photo with the floor number and color band saves a lot of wandering when you land back at MCI late at night.
