Delta flyers at MBJ use Club Mobay, not a Sky Club
At Sangster International Airport’s T1, Delta Air Lines doesn’t run its own Sky Club; instead, eligible Delta passengers are directed to the shared Club Mobay lounge in the main terminal after security. Access is based on airline invitation or qualifying ticket type, so you won’t see a separate “Delta Air Lines Lounge Area” sign at the door.
This setup means your pre-flight time in Montego Bay looks the same as for other Club Mobay guests using T1, with Delta handling the access rules on its side and Club Mobay handling the actual space. Once you clear security in the main terminal, you head toward the central departures area, follow signage for Club Mobay, and then present your Delta-backed access at the front desk.
Because there’s no branded Sky Club, you won’t find Delta-specific touches like Sky Club buffet standards or self-service soft drink fountains with the usual Atlanta or Detroit feel. Instead, Delta guests use the same seating, bar, and food service that Club Mobay offers to multiple airlines, all inside the single T1 departures lounge footprint.
Pricing for walk-up or direct-purchase Club Mobay access sometimes shows up online around the USD $30–$40 range, but if Delta has listed lounge access on your ticket or boarding pass, you don’t pay at the Club Mobay desk. Check your specific MBJ reservation details in the Delta app or confirmation email to see if “lounge access” or “Club Mobay” is called out before you head to the airport.
On the ground in MBJ’s main terminal, staff at check-in counters for Delta flights can confirm whether your fare, cabin, or elite status gets you into Club Mobay that day. If your boarding pass is printed at the airport, look for a lounge notation under the flight details for the Montego Bay to U.S. or connecting segment, then plan your time in T1 accordingly.
One practical tip: build in at least 20–30 extra minutes before boarding at MBJ’s T1 so you can actually use Club Mobay instead of just walking past the entrance on your way to the Delta gate; security plus exit immigration can eat more time here than at a typical U.S. domestic terminal.
