The Spinning Jenny

T3

T3’s pub option The Spinning Jenny rarely gets any airtime

The Spinning Jenny sits airside in Terminal 3 at Manchester Airport, past security and before the main cluster of gates. It runs standard early-til-last-flight hours, so you can usually grab a pint and a plate even on a 06:00 departure day. Think classic UK airport pub: taps on the bar, full English in the morning, burgers and pub mains later on.

Food sticks to known territory: a cooked breakfast plate, burgers, and pub staples like fish and chips and pies, typically in the £12–£18 range. There’s table service plus order-at-bar, and screens often show Sky Sports or similar match coverage. If you just want a hot meal within T3 and don’t fancy a grab-and-go sandwich, this is one of only a handful of sit-down options in the terminal.

Drinks are the usual high-street pub list, just at airport prices: draught lager and ale, bottled beer, basic wine, and standard spirits with mixers. Expect to pay roughly £6–£7 for a pint and more for anything premium or double-measured. Coffee and soft drinks are available if you’re on a work trip or driving after landing. It’s a straightforward spot to clock your pre-boarding pint without leaving the T3 airside area.

Seating runs along the bar plus standard tables for groups of 2–4, and turnover speeds up sharply in the 05:30–08:30 bank of morning departures out of Terminal 3. You’re a short walk from most T3 gates, so you can stay put until your boarding group starts to show on the screens. If you want a sit-down meal, pad your schedule by at least 30 minutes from order to last bite before heading to security checks at the gate.

Tip: clear T3 security first, then check The Spinning Jenny’s queue; if there’s a line of 6–8 parties ahead of you, grab takeaway elsewhere so you’re not rushing the final call at your gate.
