Five-minute walk from T2 check-in
T2 West Multi Storey sits right next to Manchester Airport Terminal 2, with covered parking only a few minutes’ walk from the check-in desks. It’s an official on-airport car park, so you stay on the airport road system the whole time and follow the clearly marked “T2 West Multi Storey” signs as you approach.
This is a multi-storey, barrier-controlled car park with ANPR (number plate) entry, so in most cases you drive up, the camera reads your plate, and the barrier lifts without you pressing a button. Spaces are on multiple levels, all surfaced and lined, and you keep your keys rather than leaving them with a valet or attendant.
T2 West Multi Storey mainly serves Terminal 2 departures, so it suits airlines like TUI, Jet2 and Singapore Airlines that use T2. Walking time from your bay to the T2 departures hall sits around 3–5 minutes, using a covered route for most of the way, which helps if you’re rolling large cases or travelling with kids.
Pre-booking online usually gives a lower daily rate than paying on the day, and prices often scale down once you hit 7 days of parking. Height limits apply because it’s a multi-storey, so double-check if your vehicle is taller than a typical 4x4 or van before you book to avoid issues at the entrance barrier.
There’s no dedicated terminal shuttle from this car park because you don’t need one; you’re parking for T2 on foot. If you’re actually flying from T3, allow extra time for the terminal transfer and consider a different car park closer to T3 to avoid a longer walk or extra bus ride with luggage.
Tip: aim for a space near the pedestrian exits on your level so the walk to T2 with bags stays short, especially on early morning departures.
