Multi Storey

Short stay

£65 for 4 days buys you the closest MAN parking

Multi Storey is Manchester Airport’s premium short-stay option, priced from £65 for 4 days and sitting directly opposite the terminals. Walking time runs about 1–8 minutes to check-in, depending on which level you land and whether you’re using T2 or T3. This is the product you book when you care more about a short walk with luggage than shaving pounds off the bill.

Each Multi Storey block is right next to its terminal, so you park, grab your bag, and head straight into T2 or T3 with no shuttle bus. It’s classed as short stay, so pricing is geared to long weekends and 3–5 day trips rather than two‑week holidays. Height limits apply in multi-storey structures, so larger vans or roof boxes can be an issue; double‑check your vehicle dimensions before committing.

Regulars on FlyerTalk note that MAN has pushed prices up sharply on close-in parking and even on the official drop‑off zones, so Multi Storey sits in that aggressively monetised tier. One FlyerTalk member flatly complained about the “monetisation of everything… parking and even private pick up / drop off,” and Multi Storey is very much part of that ecosystem. You’re paying for the shortest possible walk, not for frills.

Bundles that combine Multi Storey plus Fast Track security show up a lot in MAN’s promos. Posts on the MAN forum mention Fast Track being sold as an add‑on to these car parks, which can be tempting if you’re hitting T2 or T3 at peak morning banks. Do the maths: if you’re already at the terminal doors in under 8 minutes, Fast Track value depends entirely on how bad security queues are for your flight time.

Some frequent flyers now skip parking altogether, using local taxi drivers with discounted airport access cards to dodge both Multi Storey and official drop‑off fees. That approach can beat £65 for shorter trips, especially from nearby postcodes. Still, for early T2 or T3 departures, having your own car in the Multi Storey a few minutes’ walk away is hard to beat when you’re landing back late and just want to drive home.

Practical tip: If you’re set on Multi Storey, book at least 7–14 days ahead and compare the single‑product rate against any “parking + Fast Track” bundles; sometimes the bundle is only a couple of pounds more than parking alone.
