Mid Stay T3

Mid-stay

Five‑minute walk from T3 check‑in, so build a small buffer

Mid Stay T3 sits inside the airport road system near Manchester Airport’s Terminal 3, about a 5–7 minute walk from the T3 check‑in desks. It’s a mid‑stay car park, so it suits trips of roughly 3–7 days more than a single overnight. You keep your own keys here, and the car park operates 24/7 alongside the main terminal schedule.

The car park is signposted as “Mid Stay T3” on the approach roads that also lead to T2 and T3. Entry and exit run on automatic number plate recognition, so make sure the registration on your booking matches your actual car. If the barrier doesn’t lift within 5–10 seconds, use the intercom and have your booking reference ready.

Walking time to T3 departures is usually under 10 minutes at normal pace, and you stay on marked pedestrian routes the whole way. There’s no shuttle bus from Mid Stay T3 to the terminal, so if you’re carrying ski gear, golf bags, or more than 20 kg on your back, add a few extra minutes. In poor weather, expect some exposure to rain and wind between the car park and the main T3 canopy.

Prices are dynamic and shift by date and demand, but pre‑booking online often comes in noticeably cheaper than drive‑up, especially for 4–6 day stays. This isn’t the absolute cheapest option on the MAN site map, but it’s usually less per day than the Short Stay products that sit right beside T3. Changes and cancellations depend on the exact tariff you pick when you book, so read the conditions line‑by‑line before paying.

For the smoothest exit, keep your booking confirmation handy in your phone’s email or wallet app and take a quick photo of your space number so you’re not wandering row to row after a 22:30 arrival into T3.
