Lots of Spain

T4

T4 has Lots of Spain for last‑minute souvenirs

On the Schengen side of Terminal T4, Lots of Spain focuses almost entirely on Spanish-themed gifts and food products, so it’s a quick one-stop for “I was in Madrid” items before boarding. Expect shelves of regional olive oils, canned seafood, paprika, and turrón in travel-safe packaging, plus fridge space with cured meats where local rules allow. Prices sit in the usual airport range: small food gifts under €10, bigger hampers and jamón products climbing well past €40.

The shop sits airside in T4 after security, so you can walk there in under 10 minutes from most Schengen gates. Standard airport hours apply, roughly lining up with the main morning and evening departure banks, with shorter lulls in the mid-day window. Expect mostly packaged goods rather than fresh items; anything perishable is already sealed for easy customs clearance. Figure 5–10 minutes to browse if you know what you want, a bit more if you’re comparing brands.

Best value: smaller tins of Spanish olive oil, individual turrón bars, and spice packs around €5–€8. Larger gift boxes and fancy presentation tins look nice but jump quickly into the €20–€30 bracket without adding much volume. If you’re tight on cabin bag space, focus on flat items like chocolate, spices, and envelopes of Iberian cold cuts instead of bulky boxes.

Tip: check your layover and gate in T4 before heading over; if boarding starts in under 30 minutes, skip the browsing and grab pre-packed food gifts near the entrance so you’re not sprinting back to the gate.
